Political Correctness- The BS Card

The Best of Times, the worst of times. Dicking around with Dickens. This is a tale of two countries. United we are not.

Put on your glad rags with all the colors of the rainbow. Better yet wear the damn rainbow. Make a politically correct Statement!  Now, just in case somebody gets riled up on the rights of a Rainbow,  I officially state I love rainbows, gracing the skies, where they belong and can be identified as a "rainbows".

It wasn't bad enough we had two dividing labels- "black and white" now we are sub-divided into People of Color.  Who came up with that one?  And, I dare them to define it...Shades of grey and, white. It's okay now to hate white.  That does not feel like equality to me, just mis-directed rage and a lack of historical perspective.

Current politics seems to forget early years of indigenous history and even blows past some Southern American history starting circa 1500's with the French trailing in behind the Spanish and in the 1600's the English wagging the dogs tail.

A bit of high seas jinks between a Spanish ship in 1619 had the Dutch bringing the first 19 African slaves to Jamestown, Virginia.
However, the first actual slavery law in the new British colonies was enacted in Massachusetts to enslave the indigenous population in 1641. Yes, you read right, the INDIGENOUS population.....Now lets talk "reparation".

Black lives matter. No argument here. But.  All lives matter. Can't go around screaming for equal rights and stomp on someone else's. That is called hypocrisy.  Minority, diversity and inclusion. Just changing who gets what doesn't make it equal or inclusive. It's just reversing who is left out in the cold. And Baby, if your white (in any shade) you are freezing outside all the doors these days. (Is a child of a mixed race, black or white? Just wondering..) You are judged and sentenced and there are no chairs at the table. We are going ass backwards into history.

The pulpits are echoing wrath and righteousness with the sins of our great-grandfathers raining down on us.
Preachers preaching to the choir and editing out the inconvenient bits:
1 Thessalonians 5:15 "Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else" or, 1 Corinthians 1:10 "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought".

I don't consider myself a good Christian never having been able to figure out the hierarchy of sub-divided denominational hate but, there are some good suggestions scattered in the  bloody pages of the "Good Book".  Buddha and Mohammad could chime in on brotherly love, but those voices would be equally lost in the battle of political correctness...

Nope, this all about hating. Historical hate, divisive hate, white hate, colored hate, political hate...pick your label, it's all politically correct, except the truth. That one we really hate.
I guess I am chasing rainbows and unicorns..
