Another Day, Another Cyclone

Being Down Under, seems to mean a total deluge. This country takes things to a biblical level. Floods, fire and now cyclones.  Locusts should be next, although with the amount of biting bugs here, maybe we have covered that one already.

As we are sitting on a slightly elevated hill (although the locals call it a mountain) this was an advantage during the floods.  It had turned to a distinct disadvantage with the cyclone swirling in.  On the TV stations a claxon blares every 30 minutes warning us of it's imminent arrival.  Here comes Anthony!  The last ripper was named Larry and tore a nearby town to ground-level...

The general attitude, after Battening Down the Hatches, it load up on beer and start drinking. This could account for the amazingly low rate of fatalites in the recent events.  Perhaps I should give up my coffee habit and hit the beer.  When in Rome...
